Hello, everyone!
Thank you all so much for your support, especially given the delays. Coding an entire dungeon system into Ren'Py was much more of a challenge than I originally anticipated, but I'm happy to report that it is now fully working!
So, with that in mind, I still have some writing to do. To finish said writing and to implement all of it, I'm setting Update 0.11's release date to July 21st.
(Edit: Moved from 16th as Guest Content is taking me a bit longer to implement, sorry!)

Next -- what does the future hold?
I've posted the image above that summarizes everything in the works. For transparency, I'll expand on them now.
Update 0.11:
• New Quests
- The Main quest will continue north of the Flatlands, hunting the shapeshifter in an attempt to save your friend.
- Bahari's date scene. Depending on your progress in Eastbrook, he is also available as a companion!
• New Art
- Bahari's Character Art
- Otter Enemy Art
- Player clothes: Torn Shorts, Harness*ᴺᴱᵂ ᴵᵀᴱᴹ, Harness Gloves*ᴺᴱᵂ ᴵᵀᴱᴹ
• New CG
- Ash's CG scene, with 5 unique stages/images
• New Dungeon System
- A new 2D grid-based dungeon system, with custom-made sprites and art
- Features dungeon fog, hiding the dungeon until you explore new areas
- Discover random encounters, traps, enemies, loot, and more
Update 0.12:
• Main Character Rework
- The rework will include new skin colors, face shapes, and hairstyles. There will be a minimum of 4 for each, meaning 64 total variations.
- We're also thinking of including eye colors via community suggestion, so let me know if that's important to you.
- We've been thinking about body options as well. Unfortunately, with gear, CGs, etc., it would be pretty intense to implement. Until we can figure out a viable way to make that work, it probably won't be included.
• Dungeon System Expansion
- Dungeon sprites are in the works for enemies
- MC sprite definitely needs some more work, and to have gear/body customizations reflected. Given the timing of the MC rework though, this might not be possible until a later version.
- I plan to go back and re-work the entire cave system under the fields to work with this new system. The confusing search quest will be no more!
- I also want to introduce a repeatable dungeon, possibly with multiple floors or areas, with semi-random layouts and randomized loot.
For the future:
• Orveia Wiki
- The wiki is up and functional, and can be visited here at https://wiki.orveia.gay/. There is very little content right now, as editing is restricted to trusted contributors and we're very busy at the moment. If you're interested in helping out, please tag me on Discord or send me a private message. I'd appreciate any assistance!
• Crafting Enhancements
- This is a reduced way of saying that I plan to completely rework the entirety of the crafting system. With the side-story in Eastbrook, the player will eventually unlock the ability to enchant their gear. This calls for some pretty drastic changes to the gear/crafting systems already, and instead of working around two pretty basic systems, I want to make it all feel more rewarding and comprehensive. This is (hopefully) going to involve improving gear, adding stat boosts, adding cool effects, and maybe some other interesting things.
That's everything in the works for now! If you read all the way through, know that I'm super excited to share all of this with you, and I'm truly thankful for you guys. None of this would be possible without my amazing Patreon supporters. I appreciate you all so much. ❤️
