It's too bad that Prometheus wasn't a better movie (it's not terrible, but not great). Its subject matter was far more interesting than all of the other Alien retreads.

Aliens (1986) is a rare exception to the general rule that sequels are bad. GF2 is another rare exception. I typically avoid sequels like the plague. Alien (1979) and Aliens (1986) go together, analogous to GF/GF2. I agree with the review data below, but ignore if you want.
