I love the point about relating to all of the girl. As an introvert Ryo is who I want to be and I am sometimes but Bocchi I relate too hard. And I am a grown ass man relating to 15 year old girls, anime is so cool.

I am so torn between either "Bitter" which is how I first found them, or "Live Well" which is a little more hopeful. They both end up high on the playlist when its foggy and quiet outside on an early weekend morning. I am comfortable and content being alone at the moment, but when the solitude feels a little more like loneliness, both of those songs tend to get played. 👍

(I know Oasis is such a legendary rock band that they really need no introduction, but I still want to share how I first came to know them.) About 12 years ago, when I first watched the anime Eden of the East, its opening theme immediately caught my attention — it was Oasis’s “Falling Down.” Back then, it was still quite novel for a Japanese anime to use a Western song as its opening theme, and that contrast absolutely fascinated me. It also made Eden of the East leave a lasting impression on me — though, to be honest, I remember more of the vibe it created than the actual plot. Later, I realized that I had already listened to many songs by the same band, including “Stop Crying Your Heart Out,” which was used as the ending theme of the movie The Butterfly Effect. I watched that movie when I was in elementary school, and their distinctive blend of freedom and melancholy left a deep mark on me even then.
