Hope we don't wait too long for season 2 after that, it's been ages already, and the movie is where the real shit begins. This is supposed to be the schedule: September 19, 2025: Japan. September 24โ26, 2025: Select Asian markets. October 24, 2025: United States and Canada. October 29, 2025: France, Germany, Sweden, United Kingdom, and other countries. October 30, 2025: Spain, Mexico, and many other countries, including most of South America and Australia.

Considering the airing date of Frieren Season 2, the next short anime needs to be limited to 12โ13 episodes. Plus, I think itโs time to recommend some highly rated animes with female protagonists. So here are some options โ please feel free to add them to the poll or just pick one directly. I promise you wonโt be disappointed: 1. Bocchi the Rock! (12 episodes; Season 2 has been announced but no release date yet โ due to recency bias, this is probably the most popular of the titles listed here) 2. A Place Further Than the Universe (13 episodes; complete story; strongly recommended by The Robert) 3. Puella Magi Madoka Magica (12 episodes + one movie, with another new movie coming next year; strongly recommended by me) 4. Vivy: Fluorite Eyeโs Song (13 episodes; sci-fi setting; complete story) 5. Girls Band Cry (13 episodes; potential sequels; another "girls playing music" anime like Bocchi the Rock, but I prefer GBC much more) 6. Revue Starlight (12 episodes + one movie; complete story) 7. Kinoโs Journey: The Beautiful World (12 episodes; can be considered complete because of its episodic nature)
