Season is not bad at all baffles me on some of the reception it's getting. I agree it's not really close to the level of season 2 but that was practically a perfect season of television imo. I liked 4 much better than 3 and its still far better television than most of what's being put out currently. When I heard how some people were talking about it I was expecting Last of Us S2 or worse level and it's just not even close. Not everything can be Andor S2 people. I will say I was kind of hoping for it to be the final season and to close out the story. Not sure where exactly it's going for S5.

I remember in the first two seasons being so immersed by the plot, acting and directing style that I sometimes would literally forget it was a fictional show and not a documentary. It really felt like real people being filmed by an invisible camera on their day-to-day. With the last two, especially this one, often times I found myself being like “oh true, this is a fictionall performance, they have to insert X corny joke here, Y emotional interaction there”. I can’t quite put it into words, but I feel like you get what I mean. That said, I’d still recommend you to at least finish this season. Despite not being as consistently good as the first two it has some of the rawest emotional moments in the show which makes it worth it imo. And without giving much away, I think it gives the audience enough closure in case they don’t intend on watching further seasons.

2025-07-17 02:08:47 +0000 UTCYeah after watching 3 episodes of this season, I dropped the show.. the other day I was talking to a friend and I feel what made the first 2 seasons special.. it was like a spark and focus on the elements that made the show great.. idk.. I feel that spark shifted by season 3 and after watching a couple of episodes of this season I feel it’s like a continuation of that tone. Which is fine, some people love that shift in the show but I guess it wasn’t for me. I hope y’all can enjoy this show to the end and have a great experience :))

I’ve seen the sentiment that it hasn’t been good since season 2, and it makes me confused about what people liked about season 2 that wasn’t in this season.

Yeah sure…but idk this show to me has never been about the ships or even cooking…its about overcoming trauma, depression, addiction etc I think you will enjoy S4 a lot, there are some incredible moments in these 10 episodes
