The character development and call backs even in the tinniest moments? Hinata didn't know what to say back then now his game sense and actual constructive pat on the back kept Tanaka in the fight.. Beautiful.

Plus if you watch season 2, the first time Tanaka saw Bokuto's cut shot he was entranced. He's been training that shot. He even tried it last game at nationals... For him to finally hit it to win the set against the number 2 school with Bokuto watching? This show is just peak.

But this continues to spotlight how each character is valuable to the story, pushes through their struggles. Tanaka is someone who won't back down! Such a beautiful moment, the music, and the full episode!

2025-04-27 01:56:55 +0000 UTCTanaka is such a strong willed character, the strongest of the team if you ask me, and sometimes because the spotlight is rarely on him, I tend to forget that, but then you get precious episodes like this that makes you remember and understand just how precious he truly is. Also every time we cut to Big Sis smiling proudly in the stands I want to cry, the only thing I wish is that we got to see more of them being siblings with each other.
