Definitely not. Even if punishing someone in one instance can be framed as "just," endowing one person as judge, jury and executioner creates a permissive environment where neither nuance, reasonable doubt nor rights are respected as necessary conditions for justice. This really isn't a point we should have to be emphasizing in 2025, but alas.

In an ideal world we would rehabilitate all criminals but Invincible isn’t an ideal world and plenty of people they have imprisoned escape and kill more people. Certain people just are too dangerous to let live because it’s not worth risking 1000 lives to save a criminal. We can do it in our world because people don’t have superpowers but in a world where people do it’s simply too dangerous to let certain criminals live. Now I don’t think people like Oliver should be making these choices he’s way too young and doesn’t understand how nuanced this is so he generalises all bad people into one group which is bad. But on a fundamental level I agree more with Oliver in their world than with Mark because I don’t think it’s worth risking innocent lives to rehabilitate very dangerous people especially people who have proven to escape and kill more people every time they have gotten out.

They've killed even the most hilarious villains :D And since this is the first time we learn about Rex's past: I'm really disappointed that we didn't get a Rex Splode special, and it's also now very unrealistic that we will, since they practically tell most of it indirectly.
