The RICO laws in The United States are completely unconstitutional. They give the government a license to steal.

And it was a far more calculated move than it looks at first glance. At the table he is scanning all the big dudes, but he reaches the conclusion Muscles Marinara was the best victim because:
1. He knew he was an even bigger hothead than Tony, so there was a high likelihood that he would fight back . Otherwise, the whole plan would fail, Tony needed to actually overpower him to re-gain the crew's respect.
2. He realized that Muscles had a nasty scar in his arm, which likely stems from a bad injury. He knew he could use that to his advantage if they did fight, which he did.
3. Muscles was most likely not made yet, so Tony could hit him without worrying about repercussions (like when he hit Ralph). Afterwards, he can just pardon marinara for hitting him back and it's done.

I love episodes like this where it’s essentially the entire cast in one location for an extended period of time enjoying themselves and behaving casually/normally. We had something similar last season with Carmelas dad’s birthday, it’s just a different atmosphere from other more ‘normal’ episodes.
Steve Buscemi directed this one too! He directed Pine Barrens, Everybody Hurts, In Camelot, and finally, this one.
I find it hilarious that Chris’s AA sponsor is inexplicably gambling at the table with the rest of the guys lol
We heard the song ‘The Three Bells’ last episode, in relation to Jason Barone, but only the first verse, referencing the first bell, signifying birth. Possibly tying to Jason’s innocence to the Mob business, but maybe Tony’s rebirth as we see him contemplate changing his ways? When Tony leaves the hospital, we hear bells ringing. This episode we hear the second verse, and the second bell, referencing marriage. This ties to this episode and Vito pretty clearly with his storyline. The third and final verse in the song unsurprisingly references death, signalled by the third bell. We are yet to hear it, but it’s worth noting now that the first two bells have been ‘rung’, so to speak.

In the scene where Tony returns to Satriale's after a while, Silvio seems to stop Tony from describing how weak he is from the medication/health problems from being shot, almost protectively. This shows how great Silvio is as a right-hand man as he realized, before Tony, about the importance in projecting strength. However, as seen in the previous episodes, he is not interested on becoming number one again.
Also, pretty funny how Tony told Phil that he isn't interested in doing Johnny's bidding when he previously backed out on whacking Carmine after agreeing to the deal.

So much of what I remember from Sopranos happens in S6 lol. I guess it's basically 2 seasons but still, I skimmed the episode descriptions and I'm shocked. I binged all the reactions and am caught up.

I guess the implication is that Johnny's other daughter (Cristin Miloti) is anorexic? That's a pretty subtle character beat but it's totally fitting that she'd internalize Ginny's weight struggles.

I always forget that Cristin Milioti is in this show until she pops up and I suddenly remember.
With the way everybody has such an extreme reaction to Johnny's crying, I always think back to what Tony said in the first season when he and Junior were really going at it: Psychiatry and cunnilingus were what brought them to the point of killing each other. They had "legitimate" grievances, but that could have been worked out. It was those points that escalated it to the death.
These guys often talk about "Business", but so many of their vendettas and feuds and violence are caused by the most pointless and immature of offenses. They're like children who will feud for all of high school because one person wasn't invited to another's birthday party, or was caught making a joke behind their back. And that's not even an exaggeration.
Rusty Millio was one of the guys who supported Little Carmine in season five when he and Johnny Sack were competing over the title of Boss. I mentioned it then, but he's played by Frankie Valli, a famous singer who has his own real-life connections to organized crime. Frankie Valli's reputation is so intertwined with the Jersey Mafia that he was actually mentioned by name in an earlier episode when somebody wanted Tony to pull some strings to get him to perform a concert.

Some characters in this show are so funny you almost forgive them for all the evil shit they do. I mean, the lengths Vito will go to keep this prank going, truly one of the best practical jokers in the history of fiction.

I love the last scene. The fucked up thing is Tony had to do it if he wants to remain as a mob boss among these cavemen.
