My subscription will run out soon and I know this isn’t the time or place, but I feel I have been moved by something much greater than myself. Orb: On the Movements of the Earth is an anime. Terribly realistic and terrifyingly beautiful. A show with the depth of Vinland Saga and cliffhangers like Attack on Titan. It’s not something that’s fresh. It’s brutally human and risks the chance of hurting you in a quiet way. The weight of it will feel much more significant than I can describe, and tears don’t do it justice. It’s like accepting a tragedy that has already happened and has yet to occur. A feeling that the world makes sense even during the contradictions. I normally cry out for JJK, but my heart solely seeks the simple desire of sharing this story with you. Orb: On the Movements of the Earth.

Also, Spike’s build and overall look when he fights (especially his kicks) are all very much inspired by Bruce Lee’s body and style of fighting.

You laugh but the whole be like water idea is a real martial art philosophy…Bruce Lee came up with the phrase/idea when he developed his own style of fighting style after having mastered Wing Chun Kung Fu…not only a great martial arts actor but he was actually one of the greatest real life martial artists both in fighting and the science or philosophy of fighting.

You girls should watch Samurai Champloo after this. I always considered them sister shows and I'm sure I'm not the only one who does. The way the endings work together is really beautiful in my opinion. Especially if you watch Bebop first and Champloo second.
