!!!! They just announced that there will be more than just a movie for haikyuu!! They announced that an arc of the manga will be adapted into a tv series, not sure it will be season 5 or some OVAs.
🎉🎉
Hope the whole manga can be animated in the future. So excited that there will be more haikyuu to come!!
They announced it at the ten years anniversary event for haikyuu animation.

These OVAs cemented Yaku as one of my favorite characters. The fandom kinda argues which libero is better, Yaku or Nishinoya. I personally think Yaku is the best libero in HQ. He is the best player in the best defensive team of the show, and is so good at defense that everyone is like ''yeah Yaku is just gonna get that, no big deal'' no matter how insane the dig is. Yaku is a more complete player as a libero in my opinion. The dynamic of Kai, Yaku and Kuroo is also incredible and I love them so much!

Itachiyama was mentioned in S2 when they were talking about the 5 best aces in the Nation. Sakusa is that team's Ace and he's in the top 3 in the nation like Ushijima. Itachiyama also won last years nationals.

Itachiyama is the team Sakusa belongs to. He was birefly mentioned in season 2's 11th epiode when they discussed the top 3 high school aces (Ushijima from Tohoku, Kiryu from Kyushu, and Sakusa from Kanto).

Lola, to answer your question about the numbers for Japanese high school classes, the first number indicates what year the students are in (can be 1 through 3), and the second number just means which classroom they're in, it doesn't have to do with grades or more advanced courses or anything. So class 2-3 would be second year students in classroom 3.

If you’re curious about itachiyama, they mentioned them briefly in season 2 when they were going over the top 3 hitters. Sakusa is the name of the ace from itachiyama, and they’re pointed out specifically because they won the last national tournament (the inter-high earlier in the year).
