I'm also thinking about watching Vinland Saga again, but because of the anime "Orb". This anime gives such hard Vinland Saga vibes. A real shame that the anime only made it to 32nd place in the Short Anime Strawpoll.

the part that kills me the most about tsuki and yamaguchi is that they wouldn't be such interesting characters if it wasn't for the other, they exist to make each other shine. if it wasn't for yamaguchi, we wouldn't know that there's something deeper going on with tsuki, and if it wasn't for tsukis personality, we wouldn't know how beautiful it is that yamaguchi adores a person that has trouble showing affection, he literally loves him like it's breathing. they are the ultimate best friends

Back in school when I played volleyball I had a similar playstyle to Tendo except a little more grounded. I liked tricking my opponents into aiming their spike at an opening only to move my arms last second. This episode always makes me giggle because seeing Tendo play reminds me of my volleyball days!

Ah yes makes sense, especially considering that SPOILER Semi has to sit it out as setter because of his strong individualism and because Shirabu stands out the least and can accommodate Ushiwaka better. This is an interesting contrast to how Tendo's individuality is complemented by Shiratorizawa so in Semi's case we can already see cracks in Washijo's philosophy.

I think the general idea is that he's like: "don't forget to toss to him" and he's like: "yea, k (I was doing that anyways but thanks" and he was expecting something more like: "Yes! Got it, senpai". Not exactly like that obviously, but something with that vibe so Semi can feel like a mentor as a senior that's also a setter. He's like trying to get what Tanaka or Nishinoya gets with Hinata or what Suga has with Kageyama but he's just not getting it lol.

Question: I never really know how to read Semi telling Shirabu to not forget tossing to Ushiwaka. I mean obviously I get it more or less but never really got the emphasis on this moment. Maybe someone has more insight for me and can comment with a spoiler warning for the girls

You can see how Tendo is the complete opposite of Ushiwaka so he nicely balances him out. He's a quirky kid that loves the game and I enjoy his antics a lot haha

I would like to ask you all to buy a few Vinland Saga Season 2 Blurays and watch the anime on Crunchyroll and Netflix in a continuous loop so that Mappa has to finally put the third season into production. And boycott Zenshuu, Lazarus, Campfire Cooking Season 2 and Dorohedoro. Thank you. :D And just by the way, Vinland Saga Chapter 217, which came out over the weekend, is so damn Peak. :D And I just have to mention how absurd it is that Mappa has produced an anime with Zenshuu (全修。= Fix all [animation errors]) in which the main character, an animator, dies due to overwork and stress with deadlines.
