Finally have some free time and am spending it catching up on these episodes! Touching on the discussion you have on emotional intelligence of teenagers in sports teams; one of the things I love most about this anime is the idea that it's serving as modeling for young people just who are drawn to trying volleyball after watching Haikyu. It's great to think about how much compassion and care towards their teammates they could carry based off of watching an anime. One of those times where art very much pushes empathy forward.

2024-12-25 15:27:44 +0000 UTCI don't know if any other fan wants this but there are recap movies and at the end of this season's recap movie there's an extra scene that I'd love for you guys to react to after the final episode of season 2! The recap movie is called "Haikyuu!! Movie 3: Sainou to Sense" and the scene starts at around 1:19:40. Again, I don't know if anyone else wants this but I think you guys would appreciate it (trying not to give out any spoilers lol but it made me even more emotional about a certain team). Anyways, you guys are so fun & I can't wait for the next haikyuu reaction!!!! <3

The show itself starts off like a typical Shonen with cringy characters, but then changes tone and takes a deeper look at what it means to be human and having a found family. After season one I read the entire series and was blown away by its depth and care of its characters. The ending of part 1 of the manga stays with me today, more than a year after I finished reading it. I think you two would enjoy it. :) happy holidays!
