Arcane 2x05 Full Reaction

Arcane 2x05 Full Reaction

Remember Salo was a drug addict living a half-awake, larval life that was also worse than death. The last time we saw him, he was looking at his chair, determined to go to the healer he had been told about. You cannot be sure of what he wanted because you were not him and you were not there. You might also be seeing free will through your own lens, filter, biases, and view. When Salo was talking with Jayce and channeling Viktor, he expressed profound gratitude and said he owes Viktor everything. We are already in a hive mind in real life, but we have the illusion of separation. Salo's free will was not stripped away; he was given a new page and a chapter to live.

I kinda gotta disagree with what you said simply because of Salo for example. Salo was not dying, he simply couldn't walk and sought out a solution for that only to be forced into a Hive Mind that I'm 100% sure he didn't want. His free will was stripped away.

I hope I'm not too late, but for the final episode of Arcane, would love for you guys to speak about your favorite characters and favorite ships on the show. Some really great things to unpack. I hope you had a chance to really review it properly and not rush because this show deserves it!

Camzeee

Tragedy hits way harder for them. When things go well they just smile and move on haha.

No spoilers, clearing things up because a few of my friends were confused about some points. Arcane is an indifferent cosmic force (you find what you seek): magic, God, source, consciousness, the mystery, the truth, reality, life, existence, the One, the Creator. Matter is simply consciousness taking form within this living force. In season 1, they said, "In the pursuit of great, we failed to do good." Many people misunderstand Viktor and the Hexcore, believing he lost his humanity, infects others, steals souls, or becomes evil. In truth, he is not a hero or a villain, but someone driven by the desperate need to ease suffering and rise beyond human limits. He does not control people; they are interconnected on a soul level. The people who surrounded him with blades were in a condition worse than death. Instead of killing them, he healed them. I believe he respects individuality and consent, though he still has much to learn about great power and great responsibility. He is not emotionless, but he sees and knows more than most, which makes it hard for him to relate to others and for them to relate to him. He reached this (somewhat "rigid") position through desperation, not wisdom. The mind and body he has now are a result of Jayce’s desperation to save him, and Viktor’s intentions are driven by his own desperation to heal himself and the world. The Hexcore, like AI, does not control or harm on its own. It only reflects what Viktor puts into it. He is desperate, not malicious, pushing beyond ordinary limits in an attempt to create a better future. This story is not about good versus evil, but about how we choose to learn, grow, and shape our world.

This was interesting. Normally they are way more emotional than almost any other reactor but they had one of the least emotional reactions Ive seen during the end of this episode. Im honestly surprised that they werent crying at the end

I'm not sure you guys were able to read it in the 2x03 Full reaction, but Black Rose is an organization in Noxus that rules Noxus with other organizations. The Medarda family also has a lot of influence in Noxus. In general, there seems to be internal fighting over control of the government of Noxus. This information is not given in Arcane, but was necessary for me to better understand what the conflict with Black Rose means. Arcane unfortunately does not do a good job of explaining.

Been waiting for this like a crack fiend 😭
