Really want you ladies to do a quick rewatch of 7-9. Especially 7. You guys were talking during the whole end scene with mark taping the picture. And it’s just some of the best stuff this show has done. His acting is amazing and the way he is describing his Gemma is the same way she describes people’s outie in the wellness sessions. Lola was busy bot believing it was ms Casey and you guys didn’t even hear him talking about her. Which is fine. Just saying it’s an amazing scene and you should give it a rewatch. Plus it’s always good to just get super refreshed. It’s been awhile in your world since you have talked about this world. Cannot wait for this show.

If we assume an 8 hour work day, and a normal person sleeping 8 hours a night, Mark's innie has only been 'alive' for 260 "days" (520 shifts). Following above, when Dylan lashes out he bites Milchick.... like an untrained toddler would.

They guessed like half the twists in [a certain show I wont name for spoilers], they watch TV professionally for a living and are really dialled in to character development + plot stuff and tropes. They also have really long discussions before and after each episode (and off camera too) which gives them time to think about stuff and work things out.

2024-10-24 22:17:23 +0000 UTCI feel like I am so stupid that it took this viewing to even notice cobel said that. I mean I knew she said it but never connected the dots. I consider my not wanting figure everything out while watching a show a super power. I’m not watching to figure out what happens next I guess. Just on the journey with them. So this moment to me is one of the most effective reveals I’ve ever seen in tv. It shocked me beyond belief. And you guys figured it out 15 minutes into the episode and spent the rest of the time just thinking and talking about that line. Would recommend rewatching because the end of the episode is also just amazing acting. It’s not just some reveal. Also it almost seems like Lola knew it was ms Casey but also still wanted to be shocked by the reveal so she convinced herself it might be Helly. That was funny to me.

It was far too obvious, yet the show kept teasing it like it was some grand mystery, akin to the basement reveal in Attack on Titan. In my opinion, they shouldn't have teased it. It felt like watching Dora asking where the tree is when it's right behind her.

Btw, a very nice detail is how in Mark’s monologue, he lists some facts about his wife and says “i loved all those things about her equally”, basically “copying” Mrs Casey therapy sessions.

And even then, it didn’t seem unnatural to me since Cobel would totally say something weird like that. Still impressed by the girls catching on so quickly.

In addition to those pictures of teeth, doesn't that prove your theory that they take people in near death situations to fully sever them? A corrupt private healthcare group would have all the power and facilities to administer and get away with something like severance. I wonder if this show is a take on private healthcare taken to the extreme, in extension to the commentary on capitalism.
