But Matt and Trey are libertarians so of course they don't understand how property (and stocks are just the atomization of property) or markets work. They're avowed atheist Gen X contrarians who made a musical described as a "love letter to religion." I think they're just confused, apathetic morons who resent a world that made them successful.
