I think that’s something to keep in mind, it makes you wonder if this show will become THE favorite anime for many people in the future once it reaches 64 episodes or something like Fullmetal. I mean it already is for some people that I’ve seen despite only having 1 season.

2024-09-21 14:48:17 +0000 UTCI was recently recommended a reaction to FMAB by LM reactions and in my opinion FMAB is still superior. It has very well written dialog and characters, a lot of humor and depth, but then the plot adds that extra bit of suspense that makes you wonder what will happen next. Frieren goes much deeper into the subject matter and also goes further and more emotionally into the topic. However, there is less of that extreme cliffhanger feeling. It doesn't make the series any worse or better, but it is somehow missing. That's why I find it difficult to say which is better. Considering that Frieren is still ranked so far above FMAB at MAL, it does seem unfair to FMAB. And that's exactly why I think it would be interesting to have a discussion about it. :D

2024-09-21 13:00:39 +0000 UTCThat would be very interesting to see, but I think their answer would most likely be Fullmetal since it’s a much longer show and it’s finished. Fullmetal is in their top 10. I don’t think the girls have a single show in their top 10 that only has 1 season, unless that season is a very long one with 60+ episodes like Fullmetal. If Frieren somehow made it there, it would be the first show with 1 shorter season to ever to do that. PS: 28 episodes is pretty long but I meant compared to Fullmetal, it’s short.
