i like to see it as a guessing game. every day after waking up i try to guess what show is going to be posted that day (or if they will post or not) and if i get it right i get to feel like an absolute genius. and even if i don't get it right it's still a win when they post so there's no negative side to it 😌
as long as it's not friday i can play this game all week and add a little flair to my days ✨️

It's actually quite simple. You take a dice and paint 2 sides with Haikyuu, 2 sides with Sopranos, one side with Frieren and the last with Severance and roll the dice. But if you roll Frieren and it's not Friday, you have to roll again. And if it is Friday, then you have to keep rolling the dice until it's Frieren.
I hope that this was helpful :D

I haven't seen one of your videos until today. I watched S1E1 on youtube...and I came here and joined as soon as you started talking about reacts to some of, IMO, the best shows. Better Call Saul, Band of Brothers, the Wire. I looked at all of your videos, and you have reacts to all the shows people tell me are amazing like FMAB. THIS WILL BE YOUR FAV, this show gets SOOO GOOD, and just keeps getting so much better every season. Everyone always says, IDK how it can get better. Then they see. I am stoked for this. If you two want to see an amazing show that's got some of the best character arcs packed into 11 episodes of 23mins each check out Ping Pong the Animation. The art style is hard to get used to, but by episode 3 you will love everything about it...including the artistic style.

"Winners and Losers" for me, is one of the episodes that truly captures the essence of Haikyuu. It beautifully conveys the raw emotions of the players, highlighting their dedication, passion, and genuine love for the sport. This is one of my fave episodes in S1 since I didn’t know much about Ikejiri's team going in, yet by the end, I found myself rooting for them and crying with them as if they were the protagonists.
That’s the magic of Haikyuu. In just 1 episode, it introduces a team and makes you want to adopt them. It doesn’t just focus on the main characters, but also highlights their opponents. Each team and every player feels well-developed, with their own story to tell. 😊
Also, the "Go, Go, Let's Go, Let's Go, Dateko" cheer is one of my favorites. I find myself chanting it randomly since it's so catchy lol

The theme of living with loss and having the strength to grow from it and move forward is huge in this series

I’ve been really enjoying the anime (I’m watching it for the first time) and this episode gave me a different perspective that truly impressed me. The show revolves around the love for volleyball and teamwork, and seeing in more detail how, in that context, you also have to deal with defeat, adds something truly special to the way this story is being told. Part of loving a sport (or any activity, really) is that you may face failure, and I find it very interesting and valuable that before showing how to overcome that failure, this episode has shown us what it’s like to remain, for a while, in the pain of defeat. I suppose that many times, rather than rushing to move past the grief and carry on, we need to learn to sit with the grief so that the experience of sadness doesn’t stay bottled up inside us. In that sense, it really moved me to see the captain of the women’s team crying so hard when no one was watching. It's always best to share with others how you feel, but I think sometimes it's good to gift yourself one of those moments in solitude, to allow the emotion to be released in the purest and most carefree way possible. Maybe this is my favorite episode so far…

This is the first episode that I was full on crying because I felt so bad for the other team. I had to text my friend and tell her I don’t think I’m watching correctly but she reassured me that it’s okay to feel sorry for the other teams 😭😂

This is where I picked up the manga. I thought it was amazing how there was so much emphasis and emotion poured into side characters that have been on the screen for no more than a single episode. I remember tearing up at the montage of the nameless volleyball players losing bc I too was one of thousands of players who had to live in that moment of "I should have worked harder."
Furudate (the author) writes every single character with so much love and care and that's one of the main reasons I hold this story highest out of all sports anime I've seen. It doesn't matter if the character is on screen for half an episode or 10, they're gonna get that development.

This episode shows very well why it is difficult to be happy about a victory in Haikyuu. We get to see so much of the opposing team that you feel bad when they lose.
