Added 2024-09-02 19:56:08 +0000 UTCyou were supposed to get the sopranos today as well but remember milenas laptop that broke? she had to get a new one and now the syncing is taking hours so she’s gonna post it tomorrow, then we’re starting the week with the sopranos, so thats gonna be the sopranos back to back, tomorrow and on wednesday..
anyways thats it, this is haikyuu, where i am willing to die for every single character

Whoever did the subtitles on this show seems to think "geezer" is a synonym for "old man". It isn't. A teenager can be a geezer. I know these subtitles are not very good but that's mostly understandable due to the subtitler's desire to Americanize* everything, so I'm wondering: In America, does "geezer" mean "old man"? I don't know American-English very well and often get lost with it, so I am asking out of ignorance, not criticizing the language. *I enjoyed doing that :)

First season was a little rough but I personally found the first 3 EPs of season 2 to be a good improvement and had some downright great moments. It's still copping what I think is somewhat unfair criticism. It's far from a perfect show and it's ok to not like it but some of the knocks people have on it especially lore related are ridiculous and often not even true but overall I still think this second season is showing a lot of promise and I'd like to see what you two think
