2024-07-20 21:54:11 +0000 UTCThere's a reason this has shot up to my #2 anime after HxH with only one season released. Ridiculous how I only have to look at Himmel to start bawling my eyes out. The "it's more convenient to believe" conversation is genuinely the most convincing and beautiful argument I've ever seen for belief in an afterlife. As someone who doesn't believe but who wishes I did, it's something I try and incorporate into my own life now. So so happy to have these to look forward to now that Hunter is finished 💖

2024-07-20 15:23:24 +0000 UTCOne Of the many things I love about this show is how its not forgetting the characters who died in the first two episodes and instead is constantly bringing them up to develop Frieren and make her understand many things, In this episode it’s revealed that possibly getting to Himmel and speaking with him will be the main plot of the show. Instead of casting a character who died in the first episode to the side or making him a background character, they made Frieren getting to him the main focus of the story, the main plot, which brings so much more to their relationship and his character along with Heiters aswell. Another thing I adore is her relationship with fern and how she is fixing the mistakes she made with her previous party by trying to get to know fern as much as possible and giving her birthday presents and much much more, I’ve seen many shows do similar things but not as beautifully as this one.
