2024-07-05 19:38:09 +0000 UTCGing says it himself, "you think I'm being disrespectful calling it a game" - but viewing things, life, challenges as a game doesn't necessarily mean they don't take it seriously; more like they have an open curiosity about the "rules" and figuring out how to win. Being uppity about "the election isn't a game" and then losing because you're not paying attention to how it "works" and the rules and currents determining it... well, you know, that doesn't necessarily mean you took it more seriously, just that you were naive about certain things OR just too emotionally involved to see it that way, which isn't wrong or bad. As Ging says again "you're right, but it makes you predictable".

2024-07-05 12:29:32 +0000 UTCI already collected good reasons to vote for Monster or Haikyuu 😄 Reasons why we should vote Monster instead of Haikyuu: 1. Monster is finished. Haikyuu gets the movie "The Final Part 2" in Fall 2025/Winter 2026, which can't adapt the whole story. So in 2027 there will be another movie or even a last season in case the production team decides to adapt the rest of the story as well. 2. Monster is almost 20 episodes, so 10 weeks, shorter. 3. ridleymoon: "It would be very funny if they watched 70+ episodes of Monster wearing Karasuno High T-shirts." 4. Haikyuu sometimes has matches that take place over several episodes. Due to the 2 episodes per week release, we will sometimes see a match between two teams for a whole month. Reasons why we should vote Haikyuu instead of Monster: 1. Haikyuu is the more upbeat show. And with The Bear, Arcane, Squid Game, ... there are a lot of shows that are rather dark in the next months. Haikyuu would balance things out a bit. 2. Monster has a very slow pacing and takes a while to build up momentum. 3. They already have Haikyuu T-shirts and they have interest in volleyball. 4. Monster is an old anime. (Seems to be a reason for some :D) 5. We could push them instead of taking the other top 3/4 anime from the last Short Anime Poll to take crime-thriller anime in the next poll as compensation for not getting Monster, e.g. Banana Fish, Odd Taxi, Pluto, Erased and Psycho Pass.

2024-07-05 00:39:48 +0000 UTCIf you don't want to wait decades for new animated hxh content that may never come and you're serious about wanting to continue the story by reading the manga(which I highly recommend), you could read through it like how the YT channel called Marko's Anime Journey is doing it where they read through and react to each chapter and then post it as a YT video, or you could just read it privately and then make a review discussing the manga in general after the fact like how some other creators do, or you could not read it for content at all and just read it in private and never mention how you felt about it, your choice. But whichever you choose, I hope you actually do go through with reading it and don't drop the manga after like 1 chapter or something.
