Added 2022-10-20 10:45:09 +0000 UTCHere are my cheat codes for life at 25. Use them to upgrade your life.
1. When you get lots of rejections, you stop fearing it. This makes you unstoppable.
Seek out rejection.
Measure your life based on how many recent rejections you got. Let the pain light you up, not descend you into darkness.
People who have a fear of rejection are afraid of
- Not being liked
- Being abandoned
- Not fitting in
- Being alone
People who fear rejection struggle with low self-esteem, lack of confidence, shame, or guilt, and spend a lot of time and energy worrying about what others think of them.
They will often forget about their own needs or let people take advantage of them to be liked.
This will severely impact your personal goals.
2. Stop multitasking
Prioritise 2–3 goals and ditch the rest.
Focus is what removes BS tasks from your life.
3. The world wants you to be normal. Fuck being normal. That’s when being extraordinary becomes impossible.
Normality is a disease.
Being like everybody else is what makes you feel empty and as if something is missing.
What’s missing is being who you want despite judgment.
People will judge. Let them.
"When you're the gladiator in the arena, the spectators will talk.
Accept it and perform."
- Chambers Jr
4. Watch how people treat service workers. It tells you a lot about their character.
Rudeness to service workers is a sign of an entitled prick.
Stay away from people who disrespect service workers.
Cooks, cleaners, waiters, etc, are doing the best they can and shouting at them as if they’re slaves makes you the lowest form of human on the planet.
5. Life is you versus who you were 12 months ago. All other competition is bullshit.
Stop comparing yourself to others.
You’re not them, and they’re definitely not you.
Measure progress in life based on who you were 12 months ago versus now.
6. Real relationships are built with small talk.
Don’t network or seek to “do business.”
Start conversations and embrace small talk.
It’s the personal conversations that lead to business conversations. Not the other way around.
7. Success and money makes many people go crazy. Your ego can make or break you.
It's good to be confident and even a little bit arrogant sometimes but in the back of your mind you should always keep it humble with yourself.
Keep humility.
"Pride comes before fall"
Proverbs 16:18
8. Know what you want in life or you’ll get plenty of what you don’t want.
Lottery thinking holds so many people back.
Don’t hope.
Do the work so you don't have to settle for a mediocre life...like most people.
9. The power of focusing on one thing will change your life.
Find it.
Become obsessed.
Do it daily.
Make it a habit.
Build a system around it.
Join a paid community of people who have the same obsession.
10. People buy into you based on emotion. Show it, or attract zero opportunities.
Showing emotion doesn’t make you weak.
It makes you different, that makes you memorable, and memorable people are top of mind for new opportunities.
11. The person we lie to the most is ourselves.
Good lies remove imposter syndrome. Bad lies make us take dumb risks.
As humans we usually make bad decisions based of emotions and we then use logic & reasoning to justify the bad decision(s).
You can lie to the world, but you can never lie to yourself.
12. Your life can completely change in one year
Many things can happen in just one year.
In fact, one year is a good timeframe to turn the ship around.
It’s long enough to put into motion your ideas, long enough to establish habits and keep them, and long enough to wake up - day in and day out - and finally notice you’re more fit, or you are getting better at it, or all those little things you’ve been doing to achieve your goal is starting to bring results.
13. You should be embarrassed by who you were 1 year ago. Otherwise you haven’t grown enough.
There’s a reason why I never watch my old Patreon videos lol
The stuff from more than a year ago makes me vomit. That’s a sign of growth.
What you know now will look stupid in a year if you keep on improving.
14. Success in life comes down to what you’re willing to give up.
In life, there are NO perfect scenarios, there are ONLY tradeoffs.
15. If you're gonna make goals, make big goals. Why not?
When you stop having big dreams that’s when you’ve died, despite not being buried yet.
There are alive people and dead people that walk this earth.
Alive people have active imaginations, dream big, and regularly use their creativity.
Dead people walk around with a negative mindset, seek to make things “fair,” and think there’s no hope.
Don’t let anyone silence your imagination or make you think you can’t do some wild, crazy shit people say is impossible.
When it's impossible for some people, they think it's impossible for everyone else.
- Till next time.
