They do an awful job at setting up the atmosphere because they seem to think "character walking through wasteland while playing music" is good atmosphere. The world building is also rough since they don't really make the world clear to you till about the halfway mark of the season. Seeing someone that hasn't seen Fallout, and having a second rewatch cause of it just put it in to perspective. They're obviously loving the show but there are just certain moments where things just happen and it's funny to see their non-reaction to it as the jokes don't land or the scene drags on. Again, in my opinion.

Now that I'm rewatching with you girls, I'm really getting to see how bad it really is when it comes to pacing. I can just see it in your faces that you're kind of just moving through the scenes. Thankfully the show picks up after this episode and you'll be more engaged, I'm sure. But Christ, those first 3 episodes are so damn rough they could have been 2 episodes instead with how awful the pacing is on them for people with no knowledge of Fallout.

And Thadeus used to beat Maximus up. Cleaning his cod piece and getting him an apple is the least he can do. He didn't even get that apple. The Ghoul massacred an entire town and I bet that wasn't his first time. But because no one he killed got a close up they don't care. If only Maximus was born on the East Coast. Then he could be part of a Brotherhood that was something to be proud of.

2024-05-30 00:49:37 +0000 UTChotel's wifi are a nightmare. don't know if you went to today's concert or you're going tomorrow but either way hope you had/have a blast again. also, idk if you're staying in madrid for long, honestly i'm not a fan of madrid but if you have time i'd recommend you to spend a few hours at El Prado, that museum is gold, i've been there many times and i still love it every time i go. the thysenn and the reina sofia are pretty great too... but maybe not everyone loves art as much as i do. anyway, hope you enjoy your little trip.
