Just a heads up: TCC 6, 7.2 and 9 take place after the end. Therefore, the description of these mini-stories is also spoilerish. The poll is open until the end of June. 2024-05-23 11:31:55 +0000 UTCI agree with you, but Ranking of Kings is clearly the least watched and stretching the show to 33 episodes feels unfair to the others who want to see something new. Still, TCC 10 is a must, 7.1 + 3.2 would most likely be their favorite mini-stories and 8 would be a nice bonus. For the rest, I'd honestly say they could watch it for themselves privately or we'll vote on putting together a fifth episode that tells 2-3 more mini-stories. Watching almost everything would be to much.

2024-05-20 06:22:12 +0000 UTC@Robert -- I think they should watch the entirety of Treasure Chest of Courage (10 episodes in total, which they've seen 1.5 of so far). If that's too much, I think there might be some more episodes they'd enjoy watching (aside from the ones you've mentioned, which I agree are all good segments). I think they would enjoy watching TCC 1, 3, 5.3, 6, 8, 9, and 10. They could probably skip TCC 2, 5.2, and 7. And, as you know (thanks again for making this happen), they've already watched TCC 4 and 5.1. That's my suggestion, anyways. I guess it boils down to what they want to see (and how they're feeling after the finale). Are they only interested in plot episodes, or would they like to see character moments like Boji + Kage having jobs, Boji and Daida as kids, Bebin bonding with Boji, Hiling going on an exciting journey, and more of Miranjo's past? I know they have other shows to watch, but considering how much they've loved Ranking of Kings, I'd be sad if they missed out on enjoyable content from this series. I haven't been watching their HxH reactions, because I only watch reactions to shows I've seen. Someday, I want to see HxH, but I decided not to rush into it while the series is in limbo. That being said, I'm also excited to see what they'll watch next. There are a lot of great contenders.

2024-05-19 00:31:07 +0000 UTCWe'll hopefully watch 3 episodes after the final (TCC 10, TCC 7.1 + 3.2, TCC 8). So we still have a good 7 episodes / 7 weeks of Ranking of Kings ahead of us. Hunter x Hunter will also be over in 9 weeks (17 episodes). I'm really excited to see what anime comes after them.

I can imagine that WIT Studio makes better money with movies, which is why they also produced the Spy x Family movie instead of producing Season 2 Part 2.

2024-05-18 23:40:45 +0000 UTCI still think some of the remaining Treasure Chest of Courage episodes would be worth watching (and it sounds like we may have piqued their interest), so their journey might not be over quite yet. On a personal level, though, saying goodbye to Ranking of Kings for a second time is gonna be rough. It's been nice to watch Boji again.

2024-05-18 23:32:51 +0000 UTCTo clarify βthe second seasonβ: the manga tells a new story in the world of Ranking of Kings after the first season (Chapter 1 - Chapter 165). However, the author does not publish 40 pages of compact content every month like Isayama, but takes a more relaxed approach with lots of side stories and funny scenes. It will certainly take years before there is enough material for a second season. If we are lucky, maybe 2030.
