Because Lola asked if she should recognise the mercenaries who whipped the giant baby: The mercenaries Miranjo used had subsequently been used by Desha to overthrow their father. They were also ultimately the reason why Ouken created the army of the underworld, in order to have honourable fighters.
And I just have to mention again how the show manages to be so cute and then performs one of the most traumatising scenes ever. "Look how cute the show is. The show is pure frien... What the fuck is happening?!"

Episodes 4, 5.1 and 10 of The Treasure Chest of Courage are a must-watch because they finish the storyline that was started alongside the main story, but left open at the end. In addition, these stories answers so many questions and finish open ends.
I also think you would enjoy episode 8 and 7.1, though Merfhew is right that 3.2 would overload you with cuteness.
And for explanation: Ranking of Kings: The Treasure Chest of Courage (TCC) is not a second season, but a collection of mini-stories from the manga that were cut or omitted from the adaptation. Each episode consists of up to three mini-stories. Most of them are really not of great importance and rather a fun side story. A small example: One mini-story is about how a certain horse refused to exercise and became fat as a result.
You should watch TCC 4 and 5.1 (first mini-story of episode 5) together anytime you want, best would be between Episode 17 and 18.
TCC 8, 7.1 and 3.2 would be another set of ministories you would enjoy really much! You can watch them anytime. They don't have plot importance, but are extremly well to get more of characters you love and understand them better.
Here the time stamps:
TCC 4 [01:50 - 21:20]
TCC 5.1 [01:50 - 12:51]
TCC 8 [01:50 - 21:20]
TCC 7.1 [01:50 - 12:20]
TCC 3.2 [13:35 - 21:20]
The only problem you should be aware of is that the intro (00:00 - 00:20), the opening (00:20 - 01:50) and the ending spoil the end of the story, both with subtitles and with its images. And especially for Episode 7 only the first mini-story should be watched, because the following one is a mini-story that takes place after the end of the show.
I already cut Episode 8.5 (TCC 8) and Episode 17.5 (TCC 7.1, 4, 5.1) myself a few months ago and replaced the opening and ending with the ones from Season 1. TCC 10 should only be watched after episode 23, so I didn't bother here to edit that episode.

But now that you are quite a bit further now, I would suggest that you can watch TCC 8 and TCC 7.1 together, as 7.1 can be watched between episodes 10 and 11. Or you watch TCC 8 and then TCC 7.1 and 3.2 together.
EDIT:
I have added ROK 8.5 - TCC 8, ROK 11.5 - TCC 7.1 + 3.2 and ROK 17.5 - TCC 4 + 5.1 to Google Drive.

I agree even though I don't like it as much as others, but I think they will really love it.

By the way, "Oh-kin" is how you pronounce Prince Ouken's name. It sounded like you weren't sure, so I hope that helps!

@Isaac - It ended at a good spot, you're right, but I still miss Frieren desperately. When you watch a show for 24 - 26 weeks straight, it's tough to say goodbye. Or, as Himmel would put it, see you next time. 😭
If this was a matter of "watch Frieren or watch nothing," then I'd agree with you. However, they have a long list of other shows to watch.
When a new season of Frieren is announced, and that new season gets closer to airing, Youtube channels that are only just now starting the show will get a boost from the announcement. Right now, it feels like every major reaction channel has watched it or is currently watching Frieren, so there will be burnout and competition.
Ultimately, the decision is up to Milena and Lola, so we'll just have to wait and see. I'll be onboard for their journey either way.

"Kage is us"
Yeah Kage feels like an audience surrogate, he says and thinks about Bojji the way we do lol. His VA is also one of my favorites, the way he delivers his lines is hilarious

Frieren S1 ends in a really good spot to sit with IMO. I don't think there's much benefit to putting it off.
It's already 28 episodes at this point. This is the most reasonable stage for it to fit into this slot

Boji and Kage are one of the best friendships in anime. Just as Gon and Killua ❤️

Frieren is so good that I kinda want them to wait until a Season 2 gets announced before starting. Otherwise, they'll be forced to wait like the rest of us. There's no question that we'll get more Frieren someday, but who knows when that'll happen.
One of the many things I appreciate about this channel is how often they start a show *after* it's been out for a while. It's nice to see a reaction channel that doesn't immediately jump to start every popular show. They've mentioned numerous times during Attack on Titan that they would have hated to wait between each season (and, towards the end, they were forced to do just that). If possible, I hope we can avoid putting them through that again. There are plenty of other great shows to watch, including shows they've already told us they want to watch (from previous polls).

Considering how much you've loved this show, I think "Ranking of Kings: Treasure Chest of Courage" would be worth watching. It's been mentioned in the comments section a few times now, so I think that's the "OVA" you were talking about during the post-episode discussion at 23:48.
There are 10 episodes in total. Some of them further the story, some of them provide more context to S1, some of them focus on character development (there's a really cute episode about Boji and Daida), and some of them are kinda filler. I think you'd enjoy watching all 10 episodes, but if that's too many, we can point to specific episodes.
Ranking of Kings: Treasure Chest of Courage is listed as S42 on Crunchyroll.

I agree frieren is up their alley. The only thing that makes me sad is that there are a lot of older anime’s that are equally as good that probably won’t be watched for a very long time since they are older and many new fans don’t know about them or will not vote for them.

Don't know when or where we are supposed to do this, but i recommend watching Frieren: Beyond Journey's End, once they are done with RoK
