Spread by a Michigan Republican Party official, and exhaustedly denied by the superintendent of schools, reactionary parents latched on to this fake new front in identity politics/culture war (not) happening on school campuses.

The litterbox thing is like, a weird fixation people have. I've had coworkers hear I participate in the fandom and then come ask me about my bathroom habits. I've been going out for food at a convention with friends and have literal strangers ask me about litterboxes. Please, I'm so confused.
