I checked the HxH wiki though and it says that the full name is "Egg on your Face: Missleman" which is a non-literal translation. I think "Egg on your face" is supposed to mean you were caught in a lie.

So even if someone sees the door open, they don't notice it. Remember when he explained his ability to Gon by touching the bird?
