HH Episode 112 Reaction

HH Episode 112 Reaction

Comments

adds to the intensity

metcaldfl. bob

Pitou is seriously one of my favorite characters, her development can get overshadowed by other prominent characters in this arc but her subtle growth is honestly incredible.

Colin Huckestein

I didn't realize pitou was crying the first time I watched hunter, that adds a layer onto things

Sonder

ill never understand this narrator dislike, hes literally just giving context lol

Tserriednich

@notkorra ofc, you can see it with One Piece not with HxH (these are the only 2 shows I commented in the last year...but actually it's different, I left 2 or 3 comments in total trying to convince them to watch the anime). Are you the second account of someone by any chance?

Yū Nishinoya

One of the advantages of all the slow motion is that the tension is ramped and maintained throughout. I also loved Youpi's tension break for that reason. Everyone in the palace probably heard the staircase exploding and it sorta ties everyone together that way. Gon's instincts are just freakishly fast. It's insane. He's also got this whole Capt Ahab thing going on, which I started to visualize this time around. Even raised on a place called Whale Island, funnily enough.

Rare

@HgPt are you a hypocrite by any chance ?

Salvatore

LM THE GOAT

Salvatore

I always thought that the king's face was obscured not because of a dark aura he was emanating. in my opinion, in that moment the king was in shock, he was worried for komugi. I'm not saying he was crying but he had a worried face that is not fit for the king, that's why Pitou blocked the face in their mind, it was a shock even for them and it's like they weren't programmed to see the king as a worried desperate creature. the the King regained his composure and his face was visible again

DelgAlessio

They are so goated

Karabo

The part where Netero and Zeno stood by and waited for the King to help Komogi🥲

JATLA

I've been waiting for this episode and it did not disappoint

Miss Mewiththat

Yup only plot hole but for me the answer is simple. Just like Zeno told him about East Gorteou , he probably told him of a mission where he rained down literal hell on the target and it clicked in KiIlua's brain now that he can see the Nen

Karabo

52 minute reactions and we haven't even HIT the real shit. certain episodes are going to get an hour and a half to 2 hours. Chimera Ant arc and LM reactions, let's go!

Karabo

thank you @pqpqpqpq. I'll answer you. When you tell the girls how you feel about things they'll experience in next episodes (whether they are positive feelings or they are negative) it's because you want to influence them: the reason why he types negative comments under almost every episode since Yorknew City arc is that he decided it is the best arc in this anime and he wants everyone to agree with him. Most of his comments are inaccurate and biased, the girls disagree with everything he says because they are watching these episodes without any emotional bias and they can judge properly the pace and the importance of the narrator in this episode

Yū Nishinoya

even if it contradicts the timeline of the anime (not of the manga) Gon is still 12, it is said by the narrator after the date with Palm and it's confirmed by another character in the future. (in the manga both Gon and Killua are 11 when they take the exam, Gon says "almost 12" and Killua thinks "me too")

Yū Nishinoya

People who act like minor complaints are unacceptable are emotionally immature. People can like or even love a show and still have complaints about it. Grow up and get over it.

Shivering King Banana

Also because he is the KING, and has his pride as the king. He would never cheap shot an opponent but face them head on at their best

Ammar gayal

The rest of this arc from here is truly some of the greatest story telling I’ve ever encountered. Togashi is a legend. You girls are really in for a treat with the rest of this show!

Carson Gardner

Same, he didn't annoy me that much in this episode but there are others where he was useless in my opinion. He doesn't need to say everything that is happening we have eyes! There are scenes for me that are impactful because it's silent and him talking just ruined it.

sakurabraus

i like to believe, that illumis needle actually did alot more then killua thinks, powerful enough to even delete nen from his memory, thas why he recognized dragon dive, maybe even close his Nen pores

Tserriednich

Or was it being emotionally overwhelmed/touched at being told the King counts on Pitou? The scene is open to interpretation.

Jon Clarke

Gon has to be 13 by this point because he was 12 during the hunter exam and they only have the exam once a year. So when Killua went to retake the exam that means Gon has to be 13 by now. My head canon is that he says he's 12 because he doesn't remember his birthday without Mito bringing him a cake with candles on it.

Shivering King Banana

When pitou started crying that was the king's emotions expressed through her

Terry Gibbs

Always so cool how the build this attack on the ants up so much only to take the wind out of it with this episode <3

Vincent Samuel Price

I love hearing you both discuss and dissect aspects of these episodes. Taking the time to hold a discussion and review the finer details of the episode REALLY makes the content so enjoyable.

TheIcedPeanut

I would go so far as to say Brian heat is the most defining aspect of Gon's character.

Shivering King Banana

Gon is on a different level, normally they show him stupid & his Brian heat , But when it comes to combat, he is a man on a mission.

Hussain Ghazaly

hey man, glad you expressed your opinion. Sorry that others seem to have taken offence to it. I personally enjoy the narration, but i can understand your criticism

Nick R

My Headcanon It has been expressed time and time again that the guards no. 1 priority is to protect the king, sometimes even trying to bargain with Meruem at the risk of their lives. (Pouf during severed arm episode and Pitou's En irritating the king) But on this episode, the greatest threats to the king are a few feet away from him and Pitou doesn't even bother to argue with the King's command to heal Kumogi probably because of the Nen she felt while jumping to Kumogi's room. It was plain to read and Pitou understood with tears in her eyes. There was no arguing, Kumogi was more important than her protecting the King at that moment. It was beautiful.

Kevin Inoj Perez

The King walking in between them without them realizing (until it was too late) shows that the King could have killed them instantly and that he is far more capable and powerful than the two had expected. The King could achieve this because his aura was so calm (no malice or murderous intent) as you two have said. If there was any malice in his aura the older gentlemen would have detected it and would have been more ready to defend themselves.

Hassan Lahifi

When LM say "I don't know what's happening", it's just a translation to "Something incredible is happening but I have no words" 😊

Kevin Inoj Perez

You know what now that you mentioned it, you are right.. how is Killua able to recognize Dragon Dive..maybe this is one of those plot holes in the story or maybe it’s explained in the manga.

Jack SV

Has always been odd that Killua can recognize and name Dragon Dive as Zeno's ability when they haven't seen each other since the boys got Killua back from the Zoldyck Estate. Killua only got his pores, including the ones in his eyes, opened and learned about Nen at Heavens Arena afterwards. Zeno isn't conjuring physical arrows, it's just his dragon shaped aura splitting off into pieces, so it wouldn't have been visible to a non-Nen user when Killua was younger, even if he had ever been present at a time where Zeno used it for something.

ArtficialFlvrz

lola saying she would be a shield for the king really shows me that we are truly one in the same with our priorities lmao

Amber

Again, just because I find something annoying, that doesn’t mean I dislike the whole show lol you know that people can enjoy things and still be able to dislike some elements of it, right? I know this is cliche but fanboys are just annoying as well.

Jack SV

When I first watched hxh I didn't get why Netero wouldn't warn his people about the dragon dive, but now I think it's in line with his character. He was probably like "if they're good at their jobs they'll deal with it"

natan

With all the things that happen during this arc i had forgotten how much the 'heal komugi' scene meant to me when i first watched it. It's great to see it again through their eyes :')

Indy Bruining

I knew you wouldn't disappoint and would recognize the importance of the line "I'm counting on you"...many reactions don't understand at first why Pitou is crying at that moment...once again you prove to be the best 😭

Wallas

you guys yelling at the narrator to explain more was so real loll

StrawHat

These episodes are truly breathtaking

RepliCant

dude, the show is not for you, that's all. If you don't have patience to watch something slow, don't watch it, it doesn't mean it's bad, it's just not for you.

Max__

Again, you can enjoy that aspect of the show. I didn’t lol I still think this is a good arc( yorknew city arc is the best arc is the anime). But hey to each their own like they said.

Jack SV

Narrator is definitely one of the best parts of the arc.

Smash Bran'Discootch

Well, you're wrong. 🤷‍♂️

Smash Bran'Discootch

Dawg I just my opinion ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Jack SV

These next series of episodes I believe are storytelling at its best making HxH a masterpiece in the process

Berlin

this is a long discussion thank gosh lol so excited to watch rn!!

Amber

Ngl some people love the commentator but I do find him annoying sometimes and this episode definitely was of those times where I found him annoying. I get he needs to feed some information to the audience but jeez.. this is one of my main criticisms moving forward with this arc.

Jack SV

excited to watch, ty!

Komikall

Been waiting too long for your reactions to the "Heal Komugi" scene. Didn't disappoint one bit
