The Difference Between Masculine & Feminine Energies
Every human on this planet carries energy within themselves, it could be masculine or feminine.
Every man carries masculine energy and every woman carries feminine energy.
But oftentimes the busy and rough schedule of today's world and increased pressure on men and women drifts them away from their true energy and nature
To understand what it is to be true feminine women, a woman has to understand what masculine energy is.
Masculine Energy
Masculine energy is powerful by what it does (doing). Masculine men are doers.
They are hardworking and laborious. They are not easily influenced and vulnerable.
Traits traditionally viewed as masculine include:
• Strength
• Courage
• Independence
• Leadership
• Assertiveness
• Risk taking
• Action oriented
• Logical & Analytical
A masculine man always protects and provides. He doesn't hesitate in showing aggression and disapproval.
Masculine men don't want to get controlled.
Masculine energy is direct and projects outward with decisive, positive action, it secures, strengthens, and has a giving nature.
Feminine Energy
Feminine energy is the “being” energy, in contrast to the masculine “doing energy”.
When you are in your feminine energy, you are not doing, but you instead nurture and preserve what has been given to you.
Traits traditionally viewed as feminine include:
• Nurturance
• Sensitivity
• Supportiveness
• Gentleness
• Expressiveness
• Modesty
• Affection
• Tenderness
• Devoted
• Kindness
A feminine energy has the ability of nurturing and creating. Feminine women are emotional and intuitive.
She does not refrain from devoting herself in the service of love and family.
A woman’s feminine side gets expressed when they move with the flow of life, embrace their creative energy, dance, play, and embrace the gift of womanhood.
The feminine is the creative force. Thats why women have bodies that are designed to create life, and creation can happen in many ways:
- Art
- Writing
- Dance
- Painting
- Or envisioning new ideas.

Aspects Of Femininity
Femininity is a feeling or emotion every woman can experience.
Women by nature are sensitive, her words and her looks are graceful.
When a woman embraces her womanhood she becomes really empowered. The best thing to happen is to receive the gift of womanhood by the universe.
The gift of femininity is not an ordinary one. A woman has the power to create life, endure such pain, this makes a woman strong in every way.
A woman has the ability to nurture and love even the weakest.
Qualities of feminine women are highly admirable on all possible levels. Hence femininity is not just about looks, but also about attitude, character, perceptions of self. Femininity is largely about sensations and nurturing and emotions.
Nurturing
A feminine woman is one who feels deep and is full of passion, nurture and care.
She is gentle yet strong.
She is pragmatic yet spiritual, loves, forgives, walks away, let’s go, tries again, persists, with whatever life throws at her.
She is always generous, creative, collaborative, receptive and grateful.
Feminine women are the foundation of a strong family and society.
Because “Half of the world's population are women, and the remaining half is raised by women."
Empathetic
Women are creators and educators of new life, when they are physically and mentally healthy and educated, they will create a better and healthier living environment.
One of the most important role in a woman’s life is the role of mother. A mother loves her children like no other. Women are natural empaths and it is visible in their care and love towards their family.
Emotional
A woman has emotional intensity and inconsistency and she feels alive because of it. Allowing her intuitions to guide her thoughts, words and behaviours.
She not confined by the rat race and pressure, and she follows her heart and emotions freely. Immersing herself in the experience of nature and being carefree and unburdened.
When women are feminine, life is also simple for them. Everything simply works. They became flexible and submissive.
Supportiveness
A feminine woman is always supportive of her husband.
She doesn't fight for small reasons, She does not fight with those who gossip about her, no quarrelling with relatives, no fighting for attention.
The day women will stop fighting they will become successful and happy. Some battles are not worth it, So, she chooses carefully what to fight for
Sensual
Feminine women are sensual in their own subtle ways. She gets the right kind of attention from people.
A feminine woman always carries herself in a pleasing manner.
She shares her love, affection to all. The feminine energy in women gives them more power than the masculine energy in them.
Feminine women guide her man, inspire him, support him, and do everything possible until he becomes the best version of himself. She is the embodiment of grace and beauty.
Lack Of Femininity
Everyone has both masculine and feminine traits, just to different degrees.
You can’t exist solely as masculine or feminine. So, balance of both is necessary in everyone’s life. Men rely on women for peace and women rely on men for security.
Traditional society taught each other what it meant to be masculine and feminine through marriage.
Causes
Society created an imbalance, since it values only masculine energy, while looking down on feminine energy, which causes people to be unhappy.
Women have joined the workforce and no longer stay at home with children and engage in nurturing behaviours etc.
Lack of physical exercise and not taking care of her health and beauty.
Women as a class have lost their faith in men. They don’t know if the man in front of them is to be trusted. They have been taught to not trust men.
When a couple is both masculine, there may be more fighting and power struggles.
Effects
Gender wars
Being taken advantage of weaknesses which leads many women to wear their masculine shield on to protect themselves.
Lives on emotions, regardless of the consequences.
If she cannot maintain her positive emotions, she will find those negative emotions and depend on them. Therefore, women who are dissatisfied with their lives create drama and a devastating life.
Don't ignore your femininity by comparing yourself with men.
Throughout the entire entertainment industry, the representation of women has had slight fragments of their personality Which is recycled heavily creating tropes (recurring theme) such as:
WEAK
This is when the female character doesn't do anything other than supporting the male character.
It's okay to have a side character to the main character as long as what the character does makes sense within the context of the story
The problem is that they are forgettable and not a fully fledged character as they have no opinions, hopes, goals and dreams They have no purpose other than being a trophy for the hero.
STRONG FEMALE CHARACTER (G.I. JOE / KIM POSSIBLE TYPE BITCHES)
It is the opposite of the former trope developed for contrarian purposes with only focus on their physicality.
A character stripped of anything feminine replacing it with masculine traits creating a boring version of a man
Usually fights evil of some form. Almost always beats up men stronger than her, the whole purpose of this character is to prove a point to men.
NOT LIKE OTHER GIRLS
Nerdish, edgy, doesn't have many friends, likes masculine things and hates everyone and everything, mostly centred around a man, they don't add up to a whole person hence written terribly.
This started from the concept that - the farther you go from typical femininity the more liked you'll be.
Often written by women as they tend to put their vulnerabilities in a character while men put their valued qualities in the character typical feminine traits are often looked down upon, by associating it with cattiness or stupidity.
Establishing that femininity is inferior hence characters with masculine traits are superior.
Women are people too, hence are driven by desire, passion, love, emotions and ambition.
Establishing that femininity is inferior hence characters with masculine traits are superior.
A strong character shouldn't necessarily be strong physically but strength of a character comes from their ability to compel. There are many well written strong female characters
In Part 2, I will explain about understanding the different forms of masculinity.
Till next time.
