It be cool if you watched the Anime up until the point of where the live action is, so you can see the differences between the two. I think would be cool to see and then you're not going through all the episodes since it's only 45 episodes to get to where the live action ends. Not to mention if you end up really liking the anime, then you could just continue on.

Honestly as much as I love the show...other than specific moments, its not that great for reactions. I dont really think its worth to have a time slot for like the nxt 8 years to be dedicated to one show

You won't lose anything in terms of the story, it's as distilled a story experience as you can get apart from reading the manga, but you will lose some of the comedy and lighter moments that Toei adds. According to their website you save around 40% time with OnePace - which means it's still around episodes of content

Either way, seeing how much they enjoyed the live action, they are guaranteed to fall in love with the anime version, since it does most of the things so much better. And as a fan of both versions it's very interesting to watch people react to the differences.

Since you loved Battlestar Galactica and The Expanse check Firefly if you didn't already . It's only 14 episodes and a movie so it could be something to watch before you commit to something longer with more seasons .

2024-03-06 02:48:37 +0000 UTCIt's funny seeing you ladies put Kolby and Helmeppo so high as one of your favorite parts because they were NOT in the manga or anime like that throughout these first arcs. Legit ALL of their scenes were made up for this show and many Manga readers and Anime watchers actually hated seeing them so much. It just goes to show the benefit of being a brand new watcher, things like their story being added, you can appreciate, instead of complaining because you know they shouldn't be there. Garp being revealed as Luffy's Grandpa is also something that doesn't happen until MUCH later in the story, it was very much fast tracked here and also one of the biggest complaints I have seen about this show, and I'm not going to lie, I also didn't like that they added the reveal in, but overall I heavily enjoyed this adaptation and can't wait for the next season!!!!

It starts from the protagonist trying to escape from a space station which suffered from a collision, and after she returned to earth she gradually realized she was in a different timeline... It's 4 episodes in with a total of 8 and so far it is really intense and suspenseful. And you can also see Jonathan Banks (Mike in Better Call Saul) playing an important character in this series.

The only thing I do not recommend is the live action Avatar. Even knowing it’s sub-par to the original show, it really does not come close to doing it justice, and I understand why the original creators walked way from Netflix

Would love to see you guys react to it in the future! EDIT: Although we're only 3 episodes in, so maybe wait until the entire season is over before looking into it. You never know, some shows can start strong but end weak. But so far, it's great. It's similar to Game of Thrones but set in Feudal Japan.

2024-03-05 22:17:02 +0000 UTCi honestly don't know if you are going to check out the avatar life action or watch on your own. tbh, do not recommend at all, you can see in every single episode a bunch of reasons why the creators decided to walk out of the project, but that's entirely up to you. i hear the andor fans always getting exited when a new slot for short show opens, and there's also firefly or barry (well, that one's not that short). but you could also just not react to another show for a while and go back to just 3 shows so you can have more time to edit.

I know the anime is way too long to do a true reaction watchthrough, and this would have to be a Patreon exclusive or something for copyright reasons, but y’all should strongly consider watching One Pace, a fan project that cuts out all the filler from the anime - they’ve completed most of the first half of the series already and it reduces it from 500 episodes to like 100! It’s how I’ve introduced all my friends to the anime and they fucking love it
