Couldn't disagree more with that. This arc hits much harder in the anime/manga. It's much deeper and things make more sense, but whatever that's your opinion lol

yesss i agree, I feel like Netflix does this a lot with their live actions cuz even in the recent Avatar one they made changes to the characters that make no sense.

No if they watch the anime they should only watch up to what the live action covers. They’ll probs keep the main emotional scenes from drum island like they did with arlongs arc

91 episodes? The Live Action only covered the first 44 episodes. Why they should watch further than that? Or do you mean Manga Chapters? Then it would be the first 95 Chapters.

In the anime Zoro jumps in a pool while tied up knowing that Nami would save him from drowning despite her saying to his face that she betrayed them. while in the LA they made him way more indecisive and the least trusting for some reason EDIT: And also in the anime he is one of the first to get to the island and had to be held back from immediately going to save her. What a weird change to make to his character lol

Nami's backstory is very sad, re-watching this part of the manga through the LA made me realize how much I appreciate Nami as a character, I forgot for a second because I put so many other characters above her in terms of my favorites but she is a great character none the less. A season 2 has been confirmed which makes me so excited because they are so many other characters I can't wait for you guys to meet.

After watching Avatar LA on Netflix, I just have to say again how good Netflix's adaptation of One Piece has turned out. For me personally, the story is here much better than the anime. The live action has everything it needs to have and doesn't get too carried away with trivialities. I love it so much.
