"Fringe" is another show with a radical improvement at S2 and each season after that are even better.

2024-01-17 21:06:05 +0000 UTCI honestly had a luke warm opinion about this show after finishing season 1 for the first time several years back. I thought the rape storyline was like a dark cloud hanging over the show, and I also had some mixed feelings about Flint's character because he seemed unhinged. Then I watched season 2, and I immediately put Black Sails in my top 5 all-time lol. I've never watched a season of TV before or since that improved my opinion of a show more than Black Sails' 2nd season.
