ok girls, this isn't just going to be cute, you're going to suffer a little...but it just makes the show better, and deeper. the only shows that come to mind where you will be happy in every episode is Spy x Family, HAIKYUU and Kaguya Sama

Monster is definitely not 'wholesome.' It has really dense plot and is not a show for teenagers, but rather for a more adult audience. Monster delves into the complex dilemma of what is morally wrong and right. It's about politics, and how human beings can be sometimes truly evil, committing atrocities like the worst kind of monster. However, it also shows that there are wholesome, good-hearted, and kind people able to do the correct choice or sacrifice for others. There are shades of gray: horrible people who can change, innocent people just trying their best, people blinded by vengeance, justice or duty who can make bad choices or do awful things even with good intentions, and good people struggling with their inner demons or with an awful past they are trying to redeem. . It's not a ligthearted show but the kind of story that changes you and leaves a deeper meaning after you watched it. Naoki Urasawa is a great storyteller. This is also proven in his most recent work, 'Pluto,' available on Netflix. But for wholesome shows, I also have some recommendations: 1. First of all, 'Haikyuu!' is a really great choice. It's the best sports shonen in decades. Sorry, but only older shonen like 'Slam Dunk' are at the same level in terms of story, passion, and character development. 'Haikyuu!' is a show with wonderful energy; it really conveys the joy and passion of sports and the spirit of teamwork. It really makes you care for almost all the characters, even the rival teams. They keep the tension in every match, making you feel and celebrate every win, every play, and suffer every loss. After watching this show, it's impossible not to learn to love and admire volleyball as a sport. I never thought I would say something like that before, as it was never a sport I had interest in. But the passion in the show is contagious. 2. Another recommendation I have for a wholesome show is 'Kaguya-Sama: Love is War.' It's perhaps one of the most hilarious and warm-hearted romantic comedies. It's about Shirogane and Kaguya, two high school geniuses are too proud to confess their feelings for each other. In their eyes, love is a battlefield, and to confess is to accept defeat. So, they engage in a series of elaborate and increasingly absurd mind games, trying to trick the other into confessing first. It also have really great characters, not only the protagonists. 3. And finally, another wholesome show I recommend is 'Frieren: Beyond Journey's End.' For me, it's the best anime of 2023. Even just a couple of months since its release, it's currently ranked with a higher score than 'Full Metal Alchemist' as the top anime on MyAnimeList. However, the first season is still airing. This show has a similar vibe to 'Violet Evergarden,' but it's not as sad. It's more chill. I describe it as a feeling of kindly nostalgia.

I feel you Lola, for once I waited for this anime to finish airing to binge it and I couldn't lol I watched 3 episodes and got a headache for crying so much, still this is a beautiful story and I have no doubt that you girls will enjoy it ♥️

The shows that look the most innocent are the worst heartbreakers.

Robert H.

This time they talked about it quite a lot. Should be fine this time.

Robert H.

As wholsome as Attack on Titan sometimes is :D

"I feel attacked" - Milena Same... Lola referring to Kage as a blob really puts into perspective how this anime made us cry for a blob with eyes in just episode 2 within mere 20 minutes, what an achievement! I really love how Kage vocalized how we all feel at the end, we want to be on Bojii's side no matter what, and he did look cool as hell dodging those blows goddammit!

Monster is wholesome...-ish. Sometimes.
