Very good video. I’ve been using a very similar method to the 60-20-20 method recently but I sometimes have left over money that I don’t know what to do with. I might try the 50-30-20 method soon as well

Very useful, I feel I use a more aggressive approach on saving and investing since I have such low expenses in my life arm

As a university student my main financial setback is spending a lot of the money I earn mainly on personal spending such as going out a lot, buying alcohol frequently etc. I need to be more disciplined to know when to say no etc and this video is pushing in the right direction.

Thank you so much for this! It’s time to put myself first, hopefully they’ll understand. There’s no way in hell I’ll make the same mistakes they did, if anything it has motivated me even more to make sure I avoid going down the same path that they did. I’ll keep your wise words in mind and make sure to adapt them to my growth, I can’t thank you enough.

Brooklyn,
We should learn from the errors our parents have made so we don’t have to go through the same thing they had/have to suffer through.
Smart people learn from their own mistakes and wise people learn from the mistake of other people.
When you’re in that building stage in your life, you have to be comfortable saying no to people including friends and family and be a little selfish.
This is because you can’t pour from an empty cup, or else you see yourself feeling empty as a result of always giving and not leaving anything or giving back to yourself.
It’s only when your own cup is full to then when you can start pouring out to others.

My biggest financial setback is my parents. It’s hard for me to say no to them because they’re in such a difficult situation that they’ll most likely never be free from, but I know that if I don’t learn how to say no then I’m never going to be able to live the life I want or even save enough for the life that I want
