The voice actor of Violet and Mikasa is same, which destroys me especially after watching AOT final

Coming from someone who hasnt seen the show before (watching along with you for the first time) -> With a lot of the other episodes talking about soldiers missing in action, or Leon's parents leaving/disappearing and never coming back (which happens extremely often) and showing how they need to cope with their loss it mimics Violets situation with Gilbert obviously. With that said, everyone is holding out hope that he is still alive while all the signs point towards the opposite, especially with the ongoing theme/portrayal of violet needing to come to live for herself and accept who she is without him, for gilbert to just "be alive" would be contradictory to what the show has been telling this entire time. It's rough but we can still love those who are gone and their memory doesn't disappear just because they have passed away. The messages in this show are very deep and complex especially when it comes to character writing and nuances within Violet, it would hit much harder and would flow with the rest of the show much better if Gilbert was dead rather than alive, despite our hope that he isn't (which is human nature to not accept loss like that), that's just good story writing. Violet holding onto Gilbert being alive is holding her back in moving on living her own life and being grateful for what he had done for her in their time spent together.

One of these days, we’ll actually get to watch them watch the outro

I love this episode. It's the turning point in Violet Evergarden's story. Before this episode, Violet could barely show her grief, but after all the experiences with her clients, with the people she helped, she understands better and better her own feelings and also what she did to other people during the war. Somehow you are happy for Violet that she can now cry, but at the same time it hurts to see how much she is suffering. And the story with the father is so beautiful and sad. Much strength for the next episodes!

I posted this on another video, but if you want to disable netflix autoplay you can do so by going to: Manage profiles>select profile>uncheck "Autoplay next episode in a series on all devices" It'll probably come in handy when you start fall of house of usher as well
