Yes. It's in good hands. Abiru has worked on hunter hunter, attack on titan as well. Although the original team has worked on this show for 6 years now. I guess some people would like to venture into other projects for much senior roles. And they should by all means. They deserve it. I'll be forever and genuinely thankful if some of experienced staff members stay behind and keep working on vinland. Mappa will most likely make announcement next year. But word from top members like Abiru is also quite reliable imo.

Japanese animation focuses on eyes for facial expressions whereas Western animation focuses on the mouth. You can tell a lot about an anime character by just the eyes because they've pretty much got it down to a science. The reason why you get that sad feeling when looking at the guy with the inverted cross on his forehead is by design. He's got Sanpaku eyes which is a sign of psychopathic traits. But they also overly render and enlarge his eyes to hint that there's also a lot of emotion behind them. If you look back at DeathNote, whenever Light was good they drew his eyes regularly but when he was evil they drew him with smaller, sharper Sanpaku eyes. L, on the other hand, had Sanpaku eyes all throughout with the irises just rendered as dark voids. The shape of the eyes also matters, the rounder the eyes the gentler (less sociopathic) a character is. There you go, L's entire personality in just the way his eyes are drawn. The shapes can also vary drastically in the same character depending on the scene. To me it's fascinating to watch how such a simple element can drastically affect the viewer's perception. Even if you're not cognizant of it, you understand it on a subconscious level, and it's universal across all cultures.

@A Google does a terrible job for providing in universe answers for any sort of game or story, the "jealous" answers seems to be just someones interpretation. The general consensus is that Kalluto is born and identifies male mostly because he uses male pronouns in the original japanese writing when interacting with anyone. Any reason why is just speculation (cuz Togashi likes to leave certain things vague and up in the air and not elaborate); Most plausible I think is because Kikyo had more direct control of his life and dolled him up because she never properly had a daughter, and he just rolled with it even when leaves the mansion and does stuff away from his mother.

thanks guys and yeah, between this one and the wire i'll be a lot to binge when the tourists calm down a bit 😂 and idk @Nathan Elkin, at least here the normal ammount is 8h per day and that's what i've been doing for years. now i do slpit shifts of 5 hours or more and between shifts i have like 2 hours to rest less if there's a lot of work, a bit more if we're lucky. and i lose like 1 hour in transport because work it's like 15 minutes away. so many days i leave home at 11:00 and won't be back until 01:00. and the work if exhausting itself. maybe it's something i need to get used to but between or and sleep i barely have time to live. idk how you do it 😞

That arc is the shortest arc, we'll be done with it in less than a month. I hated the villains except the final boss. It was a little taste of what was gonna happen next arc but they were too goofy and not likeable imo.

Spoilerish question for people who read all of the manga. This isn't spoken of in the show. I read on some comment somewhere that while Alluka is for real about who she is, Kalluto is doing it because they're jealous of the "attention" Alluka gets. Is that explored more in the manga?

I would say that the ambiguous characters are 3, one they have already met and they weren't sure about the gender (Kalluto). Then there is the one you mentioned and there is a strong character that has a feminine look but (at least in italian sub and I think also in the manga) is referred to with masculine pronouns

Am I the only one who is glad they watch it only twice a week? It's good that they are not watching all the time so they don't get burnt out. I know when I used to binge shows I would often get detached from other shows and episodes later on. Maybe that's just me lol but I feel like their schedule is pretty healthy and allows for a proper discussion for every episode.
