I admit it's pretty cool to share the same first name!
Aaron Radney is a St. Louis-based fantasy illustrator who loves stories, world-building, and how they intersect in illustration. His focus is on bringing characters and heroes into fantasy by drawing heavily from non-Eurocentric inspirations for his characters and worlds. Currently, most of his work has been for TTRPGs including Backwater: the Southern Gothic Tabletop RPG, Into the Motherlands, and Sandy Pug Games.

Aaron wanted to create a new piece for the project and we chatted about this months ago. We worked together a bit on it and I'm proud of the work he's created. I'm looking forward to seeing further work from Aaron.
I love the concept of the Wizard coming through a portal via a painting.
