2020-12-01 22:06:35 +0000 UTCEssentially Kudou Retsu wants to release Magicians from military weapon status by replacing them w/ weaponized Magic-using androids, hence his interest in a concept like Pixie. Kudou Retsu is essentially a pro-Magician, by ideological alignment, and this is aligning with his political Stance. They also skipped a scene involving Maya around the events of this episode, so I might as well state it here: There was supposed to be a scene of Maya looking at data from Hliðskjálf (named after the throne Odin uses to see EVERYTHING happening within the Nine Realms of Norse mythology), which all but states that she is one of the Seven Sages as well, as she has access to the system. So in total we now know 3 Sages so far
