Added 2024-06-14 12:54:42 +0000 UTCThe tendency around me is for doomerism is to be seen as some kind of foregone conclusion & wise/accepted reality but I really feel like the human experience is just starting, with an enormous amount of uncertainty ahead of us… I stopped accepting end of the world scenarios as motivators a long time ago because I saw through them & they just stopped having any currency for me. Meanwhile, the rest of the world has just increased with this mentality! Hopefully not for long! This piece is from my first art show in Eugene in 2004.
