The story is from a poem by Goethe, but most of us are familiar with it from the Disney cartoon in Fantasia. If you look at these tools & the creative process as a spell book or magic, people don’t want the uninitiated to access the magic, at high speeds. This is totally understandable, but not reflective of the cat out of the bag, Pandora’s Box Wide Open moment we are living in. If you want to preserve the old ways, figure that out, do it. But AI Art Tools are just a small element of things going on that are entirely out of anyone’s control.
