Anyhow, a big part of my impetus as an artist has been to evoke the very specific feelings I had growing up with media that was older & gave off a sense of mystery & a glimpse into another world! Nowadays I live in that other world but when I was a kid, I’d only see it occasionally! That’s another reason Halloween is so important to me, it’s a holiday where that other world is conjured up for everyone! There should be other holidays like that! There will be!
