KASCHEY THE IMMORTAL
Added 2022-01-04 17:56:58 +0000 UTCI’ve really gotten into these Russian Fantasy Movies, they’re my new favorite! Last night we watched Kashchey the Immortal. The movie is from 1945 & directed by Alexander Rou who also directed a number of other Russian Fantasy Movies that I have really enjoyed. Anyhow, these movies are like part Harryhausen, part silent movies & part Scandinavian culture into Russia & it’s a fantastic blend! In this one, starring Georgy Millyar in the title role, he played Baba Yaga perfectly in numerous other films! I recommend them highly!
