Added 2024-08-31 21:30:54 +0000 UTCHey folks! I've been slowly chipping away at a content update for Insectoids 2. In it, you will be able to fight and procure a new geneline, led by a primarch (or patriarch, still deciding on a name). It's essentially the primary male for all Empresses, an ultimate 'boy' so to speak.
What do you think?
Oh, and don't forget the enlarged basic insectoids. Nothing worse than a centipede-sized megascarab. Centipede armor and health pool combined with sharp ripper blades...

you should give it abilities to buff insectoids, that would make it be more like a hive defender as well as construction.

Whilst not excelling in combat, its main function is to erect insectoid structures to conduct a sort of ‘siege’. We already have ‘male’ hive leaders: teramantis is a male for example. All serve under the empress.

Wondering if it would be possible to make the primarch/patriarch bigger? Similar to how all the other royals are twice the size of their counterparts, like a 4x4 entity similar to the Nociosphere. A huge scary titan of a bug to strike the fear of god into any who dares summon it...
