Progress & Thoughs - 11

Hello guys c: I'm really sorry there was no devlogs last month, it was a hard month for me to find motivation since my dog passed away, I tried to do my best but couldn't do enough progress.

Here's what I managed to do.

Secret rooms.
Is there something better than exploring and finding a secret? Maybe, but secrets are a good way to reward people who take their time exploring and not just going straight to the point.

Attack animation speed.
Been tweaking the attack speed.

Cutscenes in progress.
Cutscenes for the prologue are in progress, this way you can know more about your friends and what are you doing.

Chocolo Sprites.
Last days I've been doing Chocolo sprites, so cutscenes don't have naked people around.

Level design.
I try and want level design to be interesting and not just boring, I think that's important, but not sure I can match my expectations.

Dhorgos personality.
Sooner or later we all will cuestion if Dhorgos (our spirit follower) is actually evil, tricking Zoria to do bad stuff or not. Maybe we'll figure out in a future. (?)

Tutorial Boss, Oni.
In this tutorial, you and Chocolo stop in a random island to rest and resupply before sailing again to your destination. While there, you explore for the fun of it. And discover some goblins that live there, soon, you'll find out an Oni is their leader, and you'll defeat her because... well, you'll defeat her.
But something tells me this is not the last time you'll see her...

Childs of corruption.
You may remember the palpitating stuff I added some time ago, corruption "plants" that grow around due to the dark energy that flows in the "cursed" island. Well, this guys are infected people. Monsters, born from darkness itself. I was going to replace Scarecrows with them, since they fit my idea way more, but you guys told me at Discord that you like Scarecrows too, so I'll keep them around.

Almost forgot about this, I made this for fun, but I really like the design. I think I'm finally figuring out how to design the Old tech.
