Update from the author
Added 2020-04-28 23:46:04 +0000 UTCHello everyone and welcome to a little update I cooked for all of you guys and gals.
As you probably noticed, I haven't been releasing too much on Patreon in the last 2 weeks. That is because I am not in my final 2 weeks of a Ba(Hons) degree. It is my second degree in graphic design and visual communications, but my first one in not my native language.
To reimburse you for the lack of new mods, I would like to show you the projects I am working on for my course.
First project is a collaboration with my local government as well as a child protection comittee, with a final goal being releasing a resource pack for teachers on how to educate children on dangers of sexting. That's right, according to research, kids aged 9-15 take part in sending "nudes", which is as scary as it is disgusting.
Our job is to let them know what can happen, how easy it is to lose control, and where to get help in case that happens.

For this project I have created two different sets of flyers - one aimed at parents, on how to engage in a conversation with their child, on dangers of sexting and importance of healthy relationships. The second one is aimed at children, using text translated to emojis, informing them about the fact that 1 in 5 people shares the picture they've received with other people.

The teacher's lesson plan is a 25 page document outlining a lesson, with different worksheets, exercises and such.
The second project is a bit more on the personal side. I have been developing a card game of my design for nearly 2 years now. As a Professional Project course this year I have decided to launch a Kickstarter campaign for it - here is some screenshots of the website I am working on to go alongside the campaign.

What's the unique selling point? Whilst the cards can be obtained in randomised booster packs, they can also be purchased separately online, in a shop on our website. Every single card, no matter the level of power on it, costs the same amount of money - as it's the rules themselves that disallow more than a few of any given card. This gets rid of the fluctuating prices problem, and the fact that haunts Magic: The Gathering - no card is more rare than others, meaning no card will cost hundreds of dollars, ever.
This hopefully levels the playing field, without forcing good players to pay up for better cards.
Anyway, so that's what I've been up to. I'm sure you all understand that degree finals are more important than modding at this time. And if you don't, you're welcome to unsubscribe.
Thank you all for understanding and let me know what you think about these two projects!

What a lovely story! I thought you already had children. Guess I misread that, haha. Thank you! Have fun.
