Greetings from the middle of the fray!

Is this an overambitious plan to finish SuperButch pages approximately three times faster than I've ever done before? MAYBE. Am I on schedule? ALMOST. Will I keep this pace up after BwPCon? ABSOLUTELY NOT! But it's going okay so far.
I definitely enjoy working on several pages at a time. It's good for continuity. I noticed some bloopers with Captain Turtle's jetpack before the pages were finished. In contrast, poor Lillian has gone through like 3 different pairs of shoes since she showed up to report on the election! It's also good for momentum. It feels easier to do the same task on 3 different pages rather than go through each page start to finish. If I get stuck on one page, I can move on to another. Part of my weekly schedule has been meeting Barry at a cafe on Fridays. Because inking a page only takes an hour or two, I can ink 2-3 pages at a stretch. We can also talk through things, like future political cartoons and whether someone's foot looks right in that one panel.
I also decided to pick specific podcasts that mean I AM WORKING ON SUPERBUTCH and it's been good for focusing. If I take a break or go do dishes or something, I switch podcasts. Here's the current list:
Cool People Who Did Cool Stuff [Freedom House and Young Lords episodes]
Prairie Fires: The American Dreams of Laura Ingalls Wilder, Caroline Fraser (This audiobook is so long I've had to return it, place a hold, and pick up where I left off twice, but I've been enjoying it)
I started listening to Queer Serial Season 3 but the Mattachine Society era of queer history has so much paperwork and meetings, I don't know if I can follow it while I work, lol
Thanks, as always, for supporting me on Patreon! If you're in the Portland area, I hope to see you next month at BwPCon!
