In my defense, this popcorn was for giving away. There are a lot of campsites along my commute, and we don't want to throw out perfectly good leftovers. Portland city council just passed a ban on daytime camping (aka being homeless with a tent out during the day), so I don't know what things will look like in the next few weeks. For now, the concessions manager occasionally sends me out with everything from popcorn to bananas. If you're distributing small amounts of food, bicycling is actually a great way to do it. You move slowly enough to get a good look around you, and you don't need to find a parking space in order to stop.
The new Box Office has great sneeze-guard capabilities, but kids still manage to be gross.
