There will be a couple of word balloons on this spread, but I wanted to post this as soon as the art was done, cause I'm excited.
This took more than one audiobook's worth of time to draw, but the book that comes to mind when I look at this page is "Small Game" by Blair Braverman. It's about someone who joins a wilderness survival reality show to get a life-changing cash prize, and then everything goes wrong. I think Blair described it as being about "survival and also feelings." I still get a happy book-hangover feeling when I think about it.
I have to get ready for a Seder now. Happy Passover to those who celebrate!
