Some extra comics for the children's theater
Added 2021-01-28 05:50:29 +0000 UTCTalon and Perry Winkle host a series called How Do You Do. They interview students, artists, and families in our community about their creative projects. This comic will feature in Season 3 Episode 1! It goes up on Facebook on Thursday 1/28 at 3PM PST (and probably hits YouTube around the same time).
In the episode, Talon also interviews Naomi and me about a kids' comics workshop we're doing with the children's theater and Pueblo Unido. I turned my entire drawing/computer station around 180 degrees so I'd have a professional-looking background for the interview (instead of a fantastic view of my laundry hamper). It was such a big undertaking, I'm afraid I'll have to leave my desk like this until the workshop is over. It is...inconvenient.
We've all been stretching ourselves to provide theater-adjacent content online. My coworker Becca suggested I do a postcard series about the goofy ways we've filmed ourselves:
