Added 2019-02-12 11:16:01 +0000 UTCHi, folks! Barry here. I'm posting this at 3am on Wednesday, which I think counts as Tuesday, right? Of course right.
Some panels come easy. Panel 3 of this page was NOT one of the easy ones. I was at Becky's house on Thursday as she was trying to pencil this panel out and nothing, nothing, NOTHING was coming easily. And although she was kind enough not to curse her writer for asking for such an unreasonable angle - not with me sitting right there, anyway - I suspect the thought crossed her mind.
A lot of redrawing and curse words and glaring at the page and hair-pulling went into panel 3.
But MAN, I'm happy for the result! The superdramatic angle is exactly what I asked for. And just look at the shadows of the tall guy's legs, or the slat box the other guy is sitting on, or the stitching on their shoes!
Also, we're 94 pages into this and we're really just now beginning the first real action scene. What kind of superhero comic is this?
I can't say this enough - thank you so much for supporting this extremely odd, unlike-any-other superhero comic. The kind reactions from readers, and the support of you folks, makes all the work worthwhile. It might even make the work Becky put in on panel 3 worthwhile. :-p
