Added 2023-12-02 11:31:11 +0000 UTCBeen having a lot of fun drawing in my sketchbook. Trying to push my style and not shy away from using reference. Inside me are two cartoonists; one that wishes to draw cartoony like tezuka/schulz and one that wishes to draw more realistically like Taiyo Matsumoto.
For the past few weeks I've been writing the script for what I hope will be my next project and I really want it to feel distinct from my previous comics. I find having a specific aesthetic goal for each of my comics has been really motivating. For my potential next book, I want to really push my character designs while also using a lot of fish-eye perspective and large areas of black.
